She was devastated when India lost in the 2017 Women’s World Cup and wished she had made the team at the time
. She stated in an interview that winning the World Cup with the Indian team has always been her desire.
Subsequently, the desire was realised when she was selected for the national team and faced Australia’s women in the ODI series in September 2021, when she scored 19 runs on 40 balls.
