Suyash Sharma, who excelled with the ball in his first game despite having no prior experience playing for a junior or senior state cricket team, took three crucial wickets on his debut for the Kolkata Knight Riders.
When the Royal Challengers were 69/5 after 10 overs, KKR was defending a total of 204. Suyash received the ball in his hands after 11 overs, but left-handed New Zealand hitter Michael Bracewell hammered him for a six.
In his first over he was smacked for nine runs. By getting Anuj Rawat’s wicket in 13 overs, Suyash exacted revenge and demonstrated his ability. Even at this point, he continued and took the wicket of veteran player Dinishe Karthik with his magical spin.
