Dhruv Chand Jurel is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic and Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League. He was the Vice-Captain in the 2020 ICC Cricket World Cup alongside Priyam Garg and Yashashwi Jaiswal.

When the Indian cricket team was announced on 13th Jan for home Test series vs England Jurel got the maiden call-up in place of Ishan Kishan who had been rested for the South Africa series on his demand.

The First test will be played from 25th January.

Jurel has an impressive First Class average of 46.47 playing for his home team Uttar Pradesh.

Dhruv said the kit was worth 7000 INR back then but my father denied it was his mother who came to the rescue. She sold her gold chain to fulfil her son’s dream.
